Catherine Leonard
Catherine Leonard was First Prize Winner at the Bank of Ulster and Lambert Award of 1994; Third Prize winner at the Kulenkampff, Hannover International Violin Competition of 1994 and a finalist at the Scheveningen International Violin Competition. She holds the 'Bob Christensen Chair' as Principal Violinist with the California-based chamber ensemble 'Camerata Pacifica'. Catherine lives in London and enjoys an international career.
Dr. Gwendolyn Masin
Dr. Gwendolyn Masin was a finalist in the Baroness Jordens Competition in The Hague, won numerous first prizes in Switzerland and South Africa and all the major Feiseanna Competitions in Ireland. She gained her degrees in London, Berne and Lübeck. She divides her time between Dublin and Switzerland, travelling frequently to concert locations around Europe where she enjoys an extensive career both as a soloist and chamber musician. In 2012, she was awarded a PhD from Trinity College Dublin for her thesis on established schools and contemporary violin teaching. She is founder and artistic director of the In Search of Lost Time series (est. 2004), the Gaia Chamber Music Festival (est. 2006) and was the artistic director of the Carrick Water Music Festival from 2007-2009. Michaela's Music House, a music tutor on violin pedagogy for young children, was published in 2009.
Dara Daly
Dara Daly partook in the International Violin Competition in Novosibirsk in 1995. She was also a finalist in the 1993 E.B.U. Competition in Vienna and holds a B. Mus. from Manchester. Dara is now a full-time member of the Irish Chamber Orchestra.
Gina Maria McGuinness
Gina Maria McGuinness won First Prize in Tallinn, Estonia in 1998, and was a finalist in Schöntal, Germany in 2001. She was invited by the Estonian Philharmonic Orchestra to perform as a soloist in Tallinn for three concerts, one of which was at the opening of Tallinn's brand-new concert hall in October, 2006. She has gone on to further her music studies in Lübeck, Germany and Chicago, USA with violinist Shmuel Ashkenasi.
Ruth Gibson
Ruth Gibson, violist, was a Finalist at the 2004 International ESTA String Competition.
Lynda O'Connor
Lynda O'Connor won the Clandeboye Music Prize, organised by Camerata Ireland, in 2005. She was accepted as a violin student of the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, USA, in 2008.
David Tobin
David Tobin, at the age of ten, won Third Prize in the 2005 Bucharest International Violin Competition.
Phoebe White
Phoebe White, at the age of ten, won Third Prize in the International Noor Young Musician violin competition in Tallinn, Estonia, in 2007.

Noor Muusik Young Musician Competition 2007 Tallinn, Estonia
Phoebe White (10 years): Category A Joint Third Prize and Special Prize for the Best Interpretation of a Piece by JS Bach
David Tobin (12 years): Finalist in Category B
Two violin students of the Young European Strings School of Music, David Tobin and Phoebe White were amongst the fifteen musicians chosen to participate in the Noor Muusik International competition held in Tallinn, Estonia between March 28th and April 1st. The level of the competition was extremely high. Nevertheless, Phoebe was joint third in the Final of the under ten year olds category where she played a Bach Concerto in E Major accompanied by the Estonian Philharmonic Orchestra, and David, who was competing in the under thirteen year olds category, received a Special Prize amongst the six finalists. Phoebe is a student of Maria Kelemen. David is studying under the guidance of Ronald Masin.
