Theo Foley, Luke Kehoe Roche and the Young European Strings Chamber Orchestra have been invited to perform in September in the framework of the Feis Ceoil "Young Musicians Platform" series in the the John Field Room of the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
The YES Intermediate Orchestra has won the first prize in the orchestra category of the Shine Music Competition, where they premiered Raymond Deane's "Baroque Sessions", a work commissioned specifically by Young European Strings and dedicated to Maria Kelemen, its director.

Young European Strings Chamber Orchestra was invited to play at the prestigious Freedom of the City Ceremony which took place in the Mansion House on the 22nd of March 2014. The Award was bestowed on Fr. Peter McVerry SJ and Brian O'Driscoll.
