Family Involvement
The involvement of the family in a young child's musical education is very important to us at Young European Strings School of Music and extends to the parents' active participation in the daily life of YES.
One of the advantages of starting the one-to-one instrumental studies of a child at a very early age is that the progress of cognitive skills (a group of mental processes that includes attention, memory, producing and understanding language, and problem-solving) can be monitored by the teacher during the weekly instrumental lessons and followed up day by day by the parent who is present during the lessons.
The involvement of the family extends to the parents' presence in the daily life of the YES School of Music.
